Our Goal - The short and mid term plan for the project

A Musical Yellow Pages

We would ideally like to use the Radio Show and Website as a platform whereby the organisers of Music Festivals, Promoters, Venues, Producers, Inflight Production Companies can learn more about the wealth of talent that is part of our JazzNet247 Family Of Friends and they can use our platform to listen to and learn more about them. They can then approach the artists directly with a view to having them perform at their events.

News Reporters

We will also soon be looking for jazz fans / journalists around the world to provide news, information and feedback from their area / country for the Website / ENewsletter, if you are interested in joining the project in that capacity, please Contact Us

Music Reviewers

We will also be looking for jazz fans / journalists to review music for inclusion on the Website / ENewsletter, again if you are interested in joining the project in that capacity, please Contact Us

JazzNet247 Public Relations

We will also be looking for jazz fans / journalists to raise the profile of the project on community sites like MySpace / Facebook / Twitter etc etc, are you interested in spreading the word, again if you are interested in joining the project in that capacity, please Contact Us

JazzNet247 Live Music Venues

The mid term goal of the project is to start JazzNet247 Venues playing similar music featured on the radio show and add live acts as the project progresses. Then we plan to franchise the concept in other towns and cities through Europe and eventually give artists a ready made tour itinerary and make it worth their while heading out from their country.

They would also be guaranteed of a receptive audience who already enjoy the music of the genre. If you are a club owner, venue or promoter who is interested in this project, please Contact Us with your thoughts.

...And Finally

I hope that you will enjoy the shows, reading up on the artists and tracks highlighted from two of my favourite Sub Jazz genres ie Smooth Jazz and Brazilian Flavours.  We also feature Great Vocalists from the world of Jazz, Nu-Jazz, R'n'B and Cross-Over. There are so many hidden gems from artists from all over the world that are normally not aired on commercial radio.

In a world of so much 'data overload' and 'choice' available I am delighted at the numbers of surfers tuning in to the shows each week and logging on to the website, you are truly outstanding and I thank you.

Our slogan is :- 'Discover New Music Today' and we sincerely hope you do.

If you like the music and the concept of helping the jazz genre, tell your friends about it and send us some feedback or music suggestions to play on the shows.

Kind regards   Wes Gillespie - Producer and Host of JazzNet247 Radio
