Bassist / Trumpeter Scott ( "Bugs”) Allen is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and Guitarist/Lyricist and Vocalist, Earl “Tee” Harris is a Chicago native, who forged a bond some 12 years ago at an audition for a group called "Back2Back" in Los Angeles (which they both consider as their “Scene One”).
After a second attempt at grouping, they witnessed the close of "Scene Two". Now known simply as "3rd Scenario", paying hommage to both being third generation (Harris in namesake and Allen in family musical legacy), they are ready to take the world by storm.
Their current project ("It's About Time"), is driven with the mission to provide uncompromising musical excellence with flavors of Bossa Nova, African Rhythms, Funk and Smooth Jazz.
Together they raise the bar to include the best collaborations while enlisting talented musicians like Dapo Torimiro (John Legend, "Bayou Boogey - "Princess and the Frog", Chrisette Michele, etc.) to become the next Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis of Funk, Jazz and Soul.
Some of the artists they've worked with include Impromp2, Bebe Winans, Euge Groove and Stephanie Mills. “It’s About Time” promises to deliver exotic funk-jazz experiences with hints of far away places and channels vocal and instrumental styles of Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Herbie Hancock, Stanley Clarke and Miles Davis.
